 Back Pack Blessings - Call for Volunteers on September 10! What does Back Pack Blessings have in relation to a car wash? Well, thanks to Rich’s Car Wash, a 29 unit chain that is expanding in Georgia, Back Pack Blessings was selected as the Volunteer Non-Profit Partner at their new Kennesaw location. Back Pack Blessings was chosen because Rich’s Car Wash partners with non-profits that are child and/or student focused. Here’s where it gets exciting … and requires a bit of help from our volunteers. Rich’s Car Wash will have a Grand Opening at the Kennesaw location (1720 Old 41 Hwy NW, Kennesaw, GA 30152) on Saturday, September 10, 2022. They will be offering free car washes to the public and simply ask that the drivers make a donation to their non-profit partner. Back Pack Blessings will receive 100% of the donations collected that day! To make this event successful, we are asking for 24 of our faithful volunteers to support this effort by taking a two hour shift during the 8:00 am – 7:30 pm operating hours. Don’t worry, you won’t get wet! Your role will be to hold collection buckets and enthusiastically talk about Back Pack Blessings to the drivers. We will provide Back Pack Blessings shirts to wear as well as brochures to share, yard signs, and banners.
