To sign up, click on the month above that you wish to serve and select the weeks and positions you are available!
For small groups, Sunday School Classes, and Life Groups, one person can sign up your team by indicating the number of volunteers attending!
Please be sure to include YOUR name and email when you sign up!
Ways to serve
There are many volunteer activities available to serve BackPack Blessings during the school year:
- Thursday 4:00 - 5:00 pm -- staging food supplies by unpacking cartons and preparing shelves for individual fulfillment
- Thursday 5:30 - 6:30 pm -- packing food in backpacks and loading on the delivery truck
- Friday 8:30 - 11:00 am -- delivering backpacks to students at Fair Oaks Elementary (no children under the age of 12 per school guidelines)
BackPack Blessings is able to provide so much love and nourishment to the children because of our tremendous volunteers who graciously give of their time and talents. It truly takes a village to fulfill the mission of BackPack Blessings -- we need over 50 volunteers each week. We give a BIG thank you to those who have served BackPack Blessings so faithfully ... We are blessed each week to walk the halls of Fair Oaks and deliver backpacks to the students and spread God's love with you!!!
